<image:title>Pipes and Drums - The Canberra College of Pipes & Drums was established in 1999 to foster piping & drumming in the Canberra region. In the 24 years since it has taught a large number of players. Some play in Canberra, others elsewhere in Australia or overseas. In 2022 the College established for the first time its own pipe band. Playing in a band develops a number of skills that can’t be learnt in one-on-one sessions with a tutor. And with the largest ever number of students at the College, there were finally sufficient numbers to form a band. The outcome is a functioning pipe band which is performing at public events and players who are rapidly developing new skills. Perhaps best of all, the students – males, females, young and not so young - are having a lot of fun doing it. The College hopes you enjoy the performances of the College Pipe Band.</image:title>

<image:title>Redwing & Muir - Jesse Redwing Jesse has played extensively in a myriad of venues across Australia and done two USA tours over the past couple of years. He has supported such acts as Cedric Burnside, Cold Chisel, Nic Cester (Jet) and Ana Popovic. A track off Jesse’s debut album "Crawlin’ Up the Walls" was featured on hit Netflix show “Shooter” He has released two original albums, Comin' on and Light My Way, as well as a live record Live and Lascivious. Jesse's honest, down-to-earth playing translates well whether he plays solo or with his smokin' hot band. He is guaranteed to fill your cup with his contemporary take on the timeless soulful sounds of the blues legends Kane Muir Like many blues musicians before him, the only time you could hear Kane was live in a local dive bar or on a street corner playing his unique style atop his suitcase drum. He earned his stripes from years as a busker travelling the world, spending over a year underground in New York city’s subways, months on New Orleans street corners, L.A. beaches & Berlin's Squares. Since his return to Australia, he has been touring up & down the east coast, performing in bars & living in his house truck.</image:title>

<image:title>Hey Diddle Fiddle - Hey Diddle Fiddle – originated from Dale accompanying Caleb for his HSC music exam, Caleb was looking for a player, who could play fast enough to keep up with him. That same year, at the insistence of their dear friend Jean Haste they had their debut performance at the Wagga Jazz Festival . Over the next few years they enjoyed increasing popularity and eventually worked their way on to the main stage. Over that time they have had some very fine musicians as guests including, David Blenkhorn, Stuart French, Bruce Matiske, Chuck Morgan and their in town buddies David Kennedy, Geoff Simpson, Roger Ansell and Alex Richards. HDF have played many and varied events, Concerts, Festivals, and in front of Royalty (Prince Of Wales, Duke Of Kent, Duchess Of York) and many other fine Hotels throughout NSW. They see any chance to play together as both a challenge and a pleasure. HDF released a modest live in the studio CD a few years ago, which immediately went plastic on the national charts. They, along with some close friends are recording a new CD this year featuring their own songs and some of their live performance favourites. Please sit back and hold on to your seats, here comes HDF….…………..…fast.</image:title>

<image:title>A Family Tradition - Their journey began when they spotted a random ad on the Destination NSW website and decided to give Batlow CiderFest a try. They booked a tent site at the Showground and ended up spending the night around a campfire with strangers who soon became friends. The next morning, they stepped into the festival and were hooked — by the food, the cider, the music, and the welcoming community. Each year, their group has grown. From Joel’s parents and siblings to cousins and extended family, the festival has become a yearly reunion of sorts. In 2019, their daughter made her CiderFest debut at just six months old, dressed as a tiny apple in a costume lovingly made by Joel’s mum — complete with apple beanie! It was the fun, friendly energy of the festival that inspired their now-iconic traditional dress. “We love a chance to dress up,” they said. “It was a great icebreaker and led to so many lovely conversations with locals and organisers.” Now their growing family dresses up each year, adding to the fun and tradition.</image:title>

<image:title>Mollie Waters - There’s something special about a solo acoustic set done well — and Mollie Waters does it beautifully. Hailing from down along the Murray, Mollie is a regional country artist whose music is grounded in storytelling, sincerity and strong, heartfelt vocals. Drawing inspiration from artists like Tyler Childers, The Chicks and Luke Combs, she blends classic country sensibility with a fresh, modern edge. Her performances are stripped back in the best possible way — just voice, guitar and songs that connect. The kind of music that makes you pause, lean in and really listen. At Batlow CiderFest, Mollie will bring exactly what a great autumn festival needs: authenticity, warmth and that unmistakable sense of place. Her sound pairs perfectly with a crisp cider in hand and the relaxed atmosphere of apple country in May. Whether you’re a long-time country fan or simply appreciate genuine live music, Mollie’s set promises one of those quietly memorable festival moments. Be sure to catch her live on stage at Batlow CiderFest 2026.</image:title>

Blending late ’70s, ’80s and ’90s classics with today’s biggest hits, they move effortlessly between anthemic rock, pop favourites and sing-along staples. Fronted by the charismatic Mark Fitzgibbins — whose career includes sharing stages with acts such as The Screaming Jets and Bachelor Girl — Rock Solid bring experience, polish and undeniable stage presence to every performance. <image:title>Damn'd Sam & The Preachers - Hailing from Victoria’s Ovens Valley, Damn’d Sam & The Preachers are a road-seasoned country band shaped by bush tracks, riverbanks and small-town Australia. Frontman Sam McIntosh writes songs about unlucky love, long drives and High Country life — equal parts heartache and humour. Backed by electrified country instrumentation including fiddle, lap steel, bull fiddle bass and driving drums, the band delivers a sound that is raw, energetic and unmistakably regional. Built for dusty festivals and cold beers, their live shows are immersive and infectious — the kind that have crowds singing along before they realise they know the words. They’ll bring big country energy and authentic storytelling that feels right at home in apple country. Hats and boots optional. Good times guaranteed.</image:title>
